Overview
Niantic Labs is one of the biggest mobile and AR gaming companies in the Industry. When they came to us with a request to help them revamp the website for one of their original IP's, Ingress, we jumped into the world headfirst. We aimed to surface game elements like the different factions, portals, and 3D game assets while creating an aesthetic that leans into the world of sci-fi.
I focused on designing original art for the game’s two factions and crafting a motion system that felt like a cinematic game trailer—packed with fast-paced transitions, dramatic music swells, and high-energy visuals. The result is a case study that doesn't just showcase the work—it captures the thrill of the game itself.
